Warri South - West Legislative Arm, on Thursday October 13, passed the Year 2022 Supplementary Appropriation Bill of N100, 000000 into law, increasing the Council's capital expenditure by additional N100M to comfortably accommodate funding for projects in the 20 wards of the local government area.
The passage of the supplementary bill, which increased the initial 2022 Appropriation law followed the assessment of the request of the executive.

The Committee on Finance and Appropriation led by the secretary, Hon. Stanley Governor (Deputy Leader) moved the motion for its adoption, seconded by Hon. Charles Erewa and supported by the whole House, through a unanimous voice vote.
Consequently, Leader of the Legislative Arm, Rt. Hon. Emiko Odin Etuwewe, conducted the reading and adoption of the allocation at a plenary held at the council Chambers.
The bill was unanimously approved by the lawmakers .
The process leading to the passage of the bill indicate that the 20 wards would be allocated constituency projects, without altering what is in the annual fiscal budget passed in February 2022.
