The Shell Petroleum Development Company, SPDC, on Saturday October 15, reportedly switched on electrification project at Ugboegungun, an Itsekiri community in Warri South - West Local Government Area, Delta state.
Social media post sighted by Fresh Angle International this afternoon, claimed that the switching on of the electricity project, means the SPDC host community, will now enjoy 24 hours uninterrupted power supply.
The post, which wasn't credited to anyone, stated : " Ugborodo and Deghele ( Also Itsekiri communities) are part of the project, regrettably, these two communities, will not have light ( electricity) for now, due to non - performance by contractors, who are sons of the soil."
