Inmates of Warri Custodial Centre, can now write WAEC  - DCC Edo

The Deputy Controller of Corrections, DCC of Warri Custodial Centre of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Edo Joseph Lucky, says inmates of Warri Custodial Centre, can now write the West African Examination Council, WAEC certificate examination, due to innovations by his leadership.

Fresh Angle International can report that DCC Edo Joseph Lucky, made the disclosure in Warri, Delta state, Monday October 17, when he led top officers of Warri Custodial Centre on a familiarization/ working visit to the Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi.

 

 Highlights of the visit

 

 

DCC Edo, described Warri as very peaceful and cordial, just as he appealed to the Dr. Michael Tidi led administration of Warri South Local Government Council, to assist the Warri Custodial centre in the area of office furnishing.

Dr. Tidi in his response, commended DCC Edo Joseph Lucky for his initiatives in capacity building of inmates at the Warri Custodial centre as well as the approval for the inmates to enroll for WAEC certificate examination.

Whilst speaking of the proactive approach of his administration in the area of security and revitalization of the socio - economic life of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Tidi, promised to look into the request for office furnishing at the Warri Custodial centre.

 

Secretary to Warri South Local Government, Mr. Joseph Oribioye, Supervisors in the Council, Warri South Council Head of Personnel Management, Dr. ( Mrs.) Minnie Ajuwede Igbrudu as well as Treasurer to the Local Government, Mr. Ugborugbo Moses, were on ground during the visit.
