One of the indigenous companies that the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPC, recently sublet the pipeline surveillance to, EMNA FLEETS NIGERIA LIMITED, has unearthed a 6-inch pipe used to the Trans Escravos Pipeline at Otumara.

This Flagship Online Niger Delta Newspaper, understands that the SPDC pipeline was discovered by the surveillance team of EMNA FLEETS NIGERIA LIMITED on Friday October 14 and successfully exhumed yesterday, Monday October 17.
It was reliably gathered that the connection, was laid to Ajomo Camp in Deghele Community (48km away).
An Independent Source had told Fresh Angle International on Wednesday September 28 that Emna Fleet Nigeria Limited, a company belonging to Chief Ayirimi Emami, deployed community workers and security personnel, to stop pipeline vandalism and crude oil theft in Otumara Line (Agolila area) and Ogidigben /Trans-Forcados Pipeline axis in Warri South-West Local Government Area, Delta State.

The Source, who didn’t want his name in print, told Our Correspondent that about 80 percent of crude oil thieves/pipeline vandals, operating at the Ogidigben area in Ugborodo, are hiding under the cloak of protecting a traditional institution.
