A Security Consultant and Founder of Shola Mese Foundation, Deacon Shola Mese, FBI, says the Supreme Court verdict of penultimate Friday, which upheld the ruling of the Appeal Court that the appeal brought before it by Chief David Edebvie, lacked merit, would guarantee smooth transition and consolidation of power by Peoples Democratic Party in Delta state.
Deacon Mese, who made the assertion in a statement to felicitate with the 2023 Delta State PDP Gubernatorial Candidate, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, posited that as Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oborevworir has exhibited uncommon pan - Delta virtues of avid party loyalty and detribalized leadership quality, needed for smooth transition of power as well as strengthening the inter ethnic unity in Delta state.

Whilst expressing optimism that Chief David Edebvie alongside his supporters will work towards the imminent victory of Rt. Hon. Oborevwori in the March 2023 governorship election, " because Chief Edebvie is a dedicated PDP man", Deacon Mese, averred that Rt. Hon. Oborevwori will govern Delta state with an open heart if given the mandate and ultimately improve governance in the state.
