Breaking: Cultists go on rampage in Warri

Report just reaching Fresh Angle International reveals that cultists have taken over major parts of Warri, molesting people and destroying cars.

The cultists were said to have taken over Igbudu, Agbassa, Cemetery and Warri Sapele Roads, even as some shops in the popular Igbudu Market and its adjoining streets were said to have been closed and students as well as pupils of schools within the areas in question were not allowed to leave the school premises to avoid attack.

It was gathered that a cult member (from Bazunu family) was stabbed last night on his throat close to Corner Chemist at Hausa Quarters in the heart of Warri and he died at Sam Warri Junction while he was being taken to a nearby Hospital by members of his cult group. He was going to see his girlfriend when he was ambushed in what was obviously a reprisal attack.

Fresh Angle International can report that soldiers have taken over some major roads where the cultists operated.

Before the soldiers arrived, the rampaging cultists armed with dangerous weapons, including fuel, burnt down a bus, tricycle and lit up foams inside a shop, which spread to other parts of the building said to be owned by Chief Akpofurie (SAN). Though it could not be confirmed as at the time of this report, a source told Our Correspondent that stray bullets allegedly hit three children at Enemejuwa Area during the operation by the cultists and the victims was said to have been rushed to a nearby Hospital for medical attention.

Meanwhile, a rival cult member was reportedly shot on his leg this morning and he was subsequently apprehended and taken to the Police ‘A’ Division in Warri.
