Olori Atuwatse III upscales Edu-support, donates N2.5m to Odokun Secondary School

Exactly five days after gifting one hundred thousand naira for the purchase of boards in Bobi Primary School, Bobi in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State with a promise to institute modalities for the renovation of the school, Wife of the Olu of Warri, Olori Atuwatse III, on Monday November 7, donated Two Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira Only (N2.5M) to Odokun Secondary School, Oboghoro in Warri North local Government Area, also in Delta State.

 

 Highlights of Olori Atuwatse III's visit to Oboghoro and Utonlila Communities;

 

Fresh Angle International can report that the cash donation to Odokun Secondary School, Oboghoro, was climax of the visit of Olori Atuwatse III and other members of Royal Iwere Foundation to Oboghoro and Utonlila Communities in Warri North Local Government Area, as part of activities to round off the week-long distribution of intervention materials to Itsekiri communities affected by the recent flood.

 

Each of the communities received five (50 kg) bags of rice, two (100 kg) bags of Beans, four (50KG) Bags of Garri, 15 cartons noodles, 15 cartons of Biscuit, four gallons (25ltrs) of Vegetable Oil, three gallons (20 ltrs) of Palm Oil, eight cartons of Sachet tomato, three cartons of Maggi, three bags (50 kg) of Salt and 30 tubers of Yam.

The Olori, who was elated by the level of infrastructural development of Oboghoro Community, commended former Chairman of Warri North Local Government Area and prominent leader in Oboghoro, Hon. Godwin Toritseju Ebosa, “for his philanthropic gesture, especially in the area of education”.

 

Her Highness, Olori Atuwatse III, visited Odokun Secondary School, Oboghoro- a Free Education Boarding School Facility built by Hon. Godwin Ebosa, with free feeding and free access to medical facilities by staff and students of the school.

 

This Newspaper understands that the Queen who was accompanied on the trip by Mrs. Patricia Adams, Mrs. Olley, Ms. Orode Uduaghan, Dr. Toyin Agbolayah, Hon. Samuel Oligida, Comr. Edema Collins Oritsetimeyin (ECO) and President of National Association of Itsekiri Graduates, NAIG, Comr. Ben Eyitemi Eburajolo, gave the twin-communities; Utonlila and Oboghoro N300,000.00 each.
