There was mild drama at about 9:00am Monday January 11, 2016 at the Warri South Local Government Council Health Centre in Ugbuwangue, Warri when an alleged female Police Officer in mufti and another unidentified lady who claimed to be a Welfare Officer stormed the Health Centre, demanding to take custody of a beautiful baby girl said to have been given birth to in the wee hours of same day.v

The Community Health Extension Worker/CHO, Abanum Felicia who received the baby from a good Nigerian that brought the day-old baby to the Health Centre from under the Ugbuwangue pedestrian bridge where the baby was delivered by an unidentified lunatic, told Fresh Angle International that she refused to hand over the beautiful baby to the two female impostors “because they refused to disclose their ID Cards and there was need to inform the Council authorities”

The Matron in Charge of the Health Centre, Obianenue Christy had to communicate the development to the Warri South Local Government Council Supervisor for Health, Mr. Emma Amiwero, even as the Warri South Local Government Council Principal Information Officer, Mr. Ebule Anthony called the Council Boss, Hon. Mofe Edema for prompt action.

Hon. Mofe Edema immediate detailed the Supervisor for Health to ensure the safety of the baby.

Speaking to Fresh Angle International in an exclusive chat, Mr. Amiwero stated that the first priority was to attend to the baby’s health, formally complain to the Police with view to getting Police extract, before informing the Welfare Office in Warri for necessary action to avoid a situation where the baby gets to wrong hands or be sold.
