Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa has appointed the immediate past Commissioner, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commissioner, DESOPADEC, Mr. Matthew Poko Opuoru as his Senior Special Assistant on Political Affairs.
Speaking to Fresh Angle International in an exclusive telephone chat, Mr. Opuoru, who was Secretary to PDP Campaign Council for Warri South Local Government during the 2011 and the 2015 general elections, thanked Governor Okowa for the appointment and stated that the appointment will further spur him to serve the State and strengthen PDP’s hold in Delta South Senatorial district.
He thanked people of Okere-Urhobo in Warri South Local Government Area for solidly supporting People’s Democratic Party over the years and reassured them as well as other Deltans that the Okowa administration is poised to implement the SMART agenda in the quest to provide prosperity for all Deltans.
