Three out of seven construction workers were abducted and later released as Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Office in Orlu Local Government Area of Imo state was again attacked Thursday December 1.

The Resident Electoral Commissioner for Imo State, Professor Sylvia Uchenna Agu, reportedly told INEC headquarters in Abuja that the building was undergoing extensive renovation when the attackers struck.

The INEC LGA office was attacked earlier this year, vandalized and partially set ablaze.
