2023: DELSAMOG unveils strategic pro APC structure as Okrika reveals Ijaw demands to Tinubu

Delta South APC Mobilization Group, DELSAMOG, has unveiled its deep-rooted structure in the eight local government areas that make up Delta South Senatorial District, saying they are ready to sack PDP from the governance of Delta State and enthrone All Progressives Congress led government in the oil and gas-rich state, come 2023.

 

Highlights of the Investiture ceremony;

Our Correspondents report that the National Leader of DELSAMOG, Elder Ray Mene, made the declaration in Warri, Delta State, Sunday December 4, during the investiture of Chief (Dr.) Wellington O.  Okrika, Chief (Dr.) A.K. Osawota, Hon. Joel Onowakpor Thomas and Chief (Barr.) Olivia Agbajoh as the Grand Patron, Patron, Patron and Matron of DELSAMOG, respectively.

Elder Mene, disclosed that DELSAMOG, has 27 National Leaders, 7 Officers in each of the 8 local government areas of Delta South, Ward Officers, as well as two coordinators and two canvassers in 1,917 polling units of Delta South.

 

He declared: “We are ready for action. Our aim is to achieve proper advocacy on why we need to have a change in the political party that govern Delta state. We are doing a lot of intelligence gathering and grassroots mobilization in that regard.

 

Pioneer Executive Chairman of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Chief Wellington Okrika, who spoke on behalf of those invested, revealed: “Last week, I was present at Oporoza, when Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) and his entourage stormed our small riverine community. He was given a title in Gbaramatu Kingdom, we know BAT is a great in-law to the Itsekiri Nation. He is a person we can rely on. We told him we want a bridge from here (Warri) to Escravos (Ugborodo, Warri South-West Local Government Area). It will impact positively on the economic and social lives of the Itsekiris and Ijaws. We should insist on having river train in our riverine areas. We have train all over the country”.
