Omadino graduates under the auspices of Omadino Graduates’ Forum, OGF, say they are happy with plans by the new Omadino Management Committee, to renovate Nenuwa Hall and embark on other development programmes in Omadino, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Our Principal Correspondent reports that the Chairman of Omadino Graduates’ Forum, OGF, Comrade James Odume, made the declaration, Tuesday January 10, while responding to a publication he described as "false alarm raised by Emmanuel Aginejuone aka Emma Lagos”.

Comrade Odume, accused Aginejuone of trying to destroy Omadino community in the publication he purportedly made in Warri Voice Blog on January 9, describing the report credited to Aginejuone as misleading and should be ignored.

He stated, " It's general knowledge in Warri that Nenuwa Town Hall, which is historic to the community, caught the attention of the current management committee, who barely resumed office on September 22, 2022, to renovate the hall and furnish it with modern facilities and install street lights on the road leading to the hall.

"A man who is already biased in his opinion, pained that he wasn't considered for any position in the community leadership by the palace, is working tirelessly to ensure the current management committee, is frustrated same way they held the community hostage for years, with court cases.

"The truth is, the N52million oil spillage money paid by Chevron Nigeria Limited, was publicly declared by the current Chairman of Omadino Management Committee, Mr. Tuoyo Mogbeyiteren, something that had not been done in recent times in Omadino the community.

“The vision and mission of the current executive inaugurated by Ogiame Atuwatse III, is to see a developed community, that will become the envy of other communities.

"The general public, should be aware that Emma Lagos lied to the palace, quoting the Omadino constitution out of context, to share N10.4million from the N52million, in which a whopping sum of N500, 000 got to him, even when the chairman declined and insisted that all monies should be channeled to projects that will develop the community.

"Aginejuone, the self-acclaimed litigant, forgot then that the community had cases in Supreme Court, but suddenly remember when the community agreed that the Nenuwa Hall should be uplifted from the present state and in an attempt to map out another percentage of the money by the self-acclaimed litigant of 32 year-experience, with zero victory, he wants to engage, in a misguided moves on Omadino Court cases, using those cases to blackmail the leadership.

"The general public should therefore be aware that Emma Lagos was part of the litigation committee that was set up by the community leadership, but pride and I-too-know made him declined the offer, yet he is calling for money in cases in Supreme Court.

"I have advised Emma Lagos several times to learn a skill and get engaged, rather than making himself a workshop for devil’s activities". The statement added.
