BEDC blames power outage in Warri, environs on constraints in electricity value chain


 

The Benin Electricity Distribution Company, BEDC, has blamed the prolonged outage of electricity supply in Warri, PTI Effurun and environs in Delta State, on constraints in the National electricity value chain.

 

The DISCO in a statement released on its twitter handle this morning, Friday January 20, appealed to customers in the affected areas, to bear with it as they work to resolve the situation.

 

The statement e-signed by the management, noted in parts: “The management of BEDC Electricity Plc, hereby apologizes to its esteemed customers in Warri region, particularly customers in Warri, PTI Effurun and environs for the shortage of electricity supply currently being experienced.

 

“BEDC is a distribution company and our operations is dependent on adequate allocation received to enable BEDC distribute to our valued customers.

 

“Please be assured that we are doing our best with other partners in the industry to improve supply and keep our customers satisfied”.
