The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Youths Development, Comrade Hope George disclosed this when Youths of Methodist Church of Nigeria Warri Circuit paid him a courtesy visit at Governor's office Annex in Warri.
The SSA noted that Governor Okowa through his Youth empowerment programmes will ensure that Youths are gainfully employed.
Comrade George added that the present administration through the Youth Agriculture Entrepreneurship Programme (YAGEP) and Skills Training Entrepreneurship Programme (STEP) have positively affected Youths in the State assuring that the training will go round.
The Governor Aide urged the Youths to come with good Programme that government can partner with to empower the Youths as the Governor has great passion for Youths.
The Presbyter Methodist a Church Nigeria Diocese of Edo-Delta Warri Circuit Very Rev. Daniel Awodelu acknowledges the effort of the State Government towards Youths empowerment in the State.
He also commended comrade a Hope George for always having an open door and listening ear to a Youths at all levels.
Very Rev. Awodelu told the SSA to carry Youths of the Church along at all times and enlist them for the ongoing YAGAeP and STEP programmes in the State.
High point of the visit was the presentation of a book on Youth entrepreneur written by Very Rev. Awodelu by the Youths to Comrade Hope George, and special prayers for the State Governor Senator Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa.
