Former Vice Chairman of Warri North local government, Dr.Isaac Tosan Wilkie says Governor Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan has performed creditably in his 3 point agenda despite “distractions” by the opposition.
The PDP Chieftain and former Special Project Director inCharge of Re-opening of Public Schools which were closed in the wake of Warricrisis, noted that apart from providing the enabling environment for all rounddevelopment, Dr. Uduaghan has particularly touched the lives of “averageDeltans” in the area of transportation, health care and micro credits.
While dispelling insinuations that the current PDPstructure in the state is not accommodating to members of the opposition, Dr.Wilkie stressed the need for members of the opposition to accept the olivebranch being extended by Dr. Uduaghan.
The PDP Chieftain described the recent ruling of Deltaguber rerun Tribunal as a plus to the judiciary and victory for all Deltans,just as he commended President Goodluck Jonathan for proposing single 6 yeartenure for the President and Governors. This he opined will check theunnecessary distraction caused by re election bid of elected executives towardsthe end of their first tenure.
