The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Ndokwa West Local Government Council Chapter, has thrown its weight behind the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Delta State gubernatorial joint ticket of Rt. Hon. Sherriff Francis Oborevwori/ Sir Monday Onyeme, ahead of the March 18 Governorship/House of Assembly Elections.
Our Kwale Correspondent, reports that the Chairman of NULGE Ndokwa West Local Government Council, Comrade Ikechukwu Opone, made the position of the Union known Wednesday March 8, when a delegation of Delta State Local Government Service Commission, led by the Commission’s First Member, Bar. Greatman John Chukwuka and the Chairman of Ndokwa West Local Government Area, Dr Goddey Obi-Nzete, had interactive session with staffers of the Council.
According to Comrade Opone, the Union’s decision, was anchored on, “the good works and numerous achievements of Dr. Goddey Obi-Nzete within two years in Office as well as for being a good ambassador of PDP”.
He assured that, workers in Ndokwa West Local Government Council, will queue behind Dr. Obi-Nzete, “to Vote PDP 2/2, the candidacy of Sheriff/Onyeme for Governorship and Hon Charles Emetulu, for Ndokwa-West Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly.”
