Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, says the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter day after he was crucified on Good Friday, should bury evil and trigger the progressive thoughts of mankind.
Dr. Tidi, who made the postulation in a statement released Saturday April 8, condemned the resurgence of killings in parts of the country in this Easter and Ramadan season when Christians, Moslems and indeed Nigerians of other faith, ought to be in solemn mood.
According to the Warri South Local Government Boss, there was no better time for soul - searching and regeneration of our creative thoughts toward visible and accelerated progress, than this period of Easter.
Dr. Tidi, reiterated his administration's determination to continually foster peaceful co - existence amongst people of Warri South Local Government Area and support initiatives that would enhance socio - economic development at all times.
