Warri South Council steps up mobility of primary healthcare delivery

The Executive Council of Warri South Local Government, on Tuesday April 11, stepped-up its mobility of primary healthcare delivery, with the presentation of a brand-new Toyota Sienna Car to the Warri South Local Government Health Authority, WSLGHA.

 

Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, in his remarks, during the brief ceremony held at the Warri South Council Sub-Secretariat in Warri, emphasized that his administration procured the vehicle, to enhance primary healthcare services.

Dr. Tidi, who was represented by the Secretary to Warri South Local Government, Mr. Joseph Oribioye, explained that the gesture was consequent upon needs assessment earlier carried out.

 

The Executive Secretary, Warri South Local Government Health Authority, Dr. Tosan Sagay, who received the car on behalf of WSLGHA, thanked Dr. Tidi for the gesture, assuring that staffers in Warri South Local Government Health Authority, will continue to deliver effective healthcare services.

Warri South Council Supervisor for Health, Mr. Sunny Bodor, his counterparts in Community Development, Youths, Sports and Culture, Mr. Elvis Okpako Eboh, Agric, Mr. Sunny Omene Mabiaku as well as Education, Patrick Oghonemu, the Head of Works Department, Warri South Council, Mr. Otiedhe Isaac, the Assistant Director of Administration, Warri South Local Government Council, Mr. Geoffrey Anamali, Chairman of NULGE, Warri South Council, Mr. Raymond Emiko as well as Senior Matrons of the Council, were on ground during the handover ceremony.

 

Recall that the Dr. Tidi administration had on November 2022, donated hospital equipment worth several millions of naira to the 13 healthcare centers in Warri South Local Government Area.

 

Some of the medical equipment donated, included Sanction Machine Manual, Examination Couch, Adult and infant Hospital Beds and mattresses and Kidney DNH (Small and Big).

Others are; Stethoscope (fetal), Stretcher or trolley, Sphygmomanometer, Cusco Vactual Speculum, Dissecting forceps, Adult and infant weighing machines.
