Skeletal data published today, Friday April 21, by StatiSense (NBS) has revealed that the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) in Nigeria for last month (March) was highest in Imo State, compared to other states in the country.
The figure, showed that petrol sold for ?332.7 per litre in Imo State last month, with Taraba and Borno coming second and third with ?330 and ?324.6 per litre, respectively.
According to StatiSense, the least states in terms of fuel price per litre for March, were Benue (?195) Plateau (?196.8) and Nasarawa (?197.5).
Fresh Angle International understands that the National Average of petrol price in 2015, was ?103.9 per litre. The highest price per litre (?133.8) was sold in Kogi that year, with Adamawa recording the least price of ?87.
