Tonwe inaugurated President, Amalgamated indigenous Oil & Gas Company, discloses company's plan to commission Microfinance Bank by December

The Managing Director/ CEO, Amalgamated Oil & Gas Business Concept Limited, Mr. Rowland Diamond Tonwe, has been inaugurated as the Pioneer National President of Amalgamated Host Communities' Producing Oil and Gas & Pipeline Impacted in Nigeria.

Our Principal Correspondent, reports that Mr. Tonwe, who becomes the Chairman, Board of Directors of Amalgamated Host Communities' Producing Oil and Gas & Pipeline Impacted in Nigeria, was sworn - in alongside other members of the National Executive of the body, in a widely attended event held in Warri, Delta state, Saturday May 13.                   

Fresh Angle International, can report that they are to pilot affairs of the indigenous oil and gas company for the people of oil and gas producing and pipeline impacted communities in the country.

While delivering his acceptance speech, Mr. Tonwe, said the Amalgamated Oil and Gas Business Concepts Limited, will operate as professional firm to AGIP, Chevron Nigeria Limited, Mobil and other multi national oil and gas companies doing business in Nigeria.                

He posited that the unveiling of the indigenous oil and gas company, will lead to the exploration of the available natural resources, to the benefits of host communities.

According to Mr. Tonwe, host communities are now fully part owners in the oil and gas industry, ready to own their refinery, trade crude oil to the highest level, in - line with the relevant Act.

Tonwe, who has been in the oil and gas sector, within and outside Nigeria for over 34 years, stated that all groups are represented in the Amalgamated body, pointing out that representatives from the five highest oil and gas producing states, namely; Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta and Ondo, make up the 10 - Member Board of Directors.

He added that the National Executive Council, comprises of 36 members, including representatives from Anambra, Abia, Imo, Enugu, Kogi and Cross River States.

Mr. Tonwe, disclosed plans by the company to commission its own microfinance bank by December this year. 

He commended other members of the inaugurated executive and representatives of the various states for their cooperation and commitment towards a better oil and gas host and impacted communities.

Prof. David Ejenobo, Chairman/Director of Studies, representing Delta state in the Board of Educational Development, commended the body for the successful inauguration and unveiling of the indigenous oil and gas company, promising that they will deliver and make the oil bearing communities and other critical stakeholders proud.

Chairman of the occasion, Chief (Sir) Aboh Richard Ajuju, described Mr. Tonwe as a dogged fighter, who has been in the oil and gas industry for decades, disclosing plans by the Amalgamated body to establish oil and gas village in Delta State.

He commended Mr. Tonwe for his foresight and for spear - heading the emancipation of the oil bearing and pipeline communities in the country.

H.R.M. King Alfred Diete- Spiff, the Amayanabo of Twon-Brass, Bayelsa State, HRM, Omo N'Oba N'Edo, Uku Akpolo Okpolo, Ewuare II, Oba of Benin and the Olu of Warri, H.M Ogiame Atuwatse III, are National Grand Patrons of the Amalgamated body.

Others inaugurated, include members of the Board of Trustees , Board of Directors, Legal team , Project Directors
