Story of tax evasion incident of Dr. Yunus, a world-famous person, which is really shameful and defamatory

In the third week of January 2007, in an interview given to the international news agency AFP.

Yunus criticized the country's politicians and said that they do politics for money.

Of course, the independence of this country was achieved by the hands of these politicians, politicians have a duty role as the main planners in building the future of the country.

Only the reader will judge how fluent it is to speak in the media by mocking politicians in this way. It is not right and it is not correct to judge politicians in this way. But he surprised everyone by starting the process of forming a political party just five months after receiving the Nobel Prize. That is, he ventured to form a political party during the military-backed caretaker government, when the minus-two formula was followed by a military-ruled government.

Therefore, the assessment of his political sense, political wisdom and political context is questionable for the people of Bangladesh. The people of this country did not allow the outline of the army-ruled government to be implemented. Nobel laureate economist challenged the validity of the notice of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) claiming 12 crores of tax. The High Court dismissed three income tax reference cases filed by Muhammad Yunus. As a result, Dr. Yunus has to pay 12 crores to NBR. Here's the thing, Dr. Yunus is a respected person, a world class person, the first Nobel laureate of Bangladesh. So Dr. Such negative news about Yunus makes us hopeless, confuses, misleads us. Professor Yunus could be followed by many of the young generation, but sometimes he suddenly became the headline of negative news. Yunus coming into the discussion is not desirable. Dr. Many of a certain age. Follows Yunus and keeps abreast of all matters. Dr. in this place. Such a news about Yunus is like a surprise.

At the end of January 2007 Dr. Muhammad Yunus visited India. During that visit, he highlighted the strong possibility of joining politics. On 31 January 2007, after meeting Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Professor Yunus said in a press conference in Delhi on 31 January that he would join politics if the situation in the country forced it. Quoting Professor Yunus, Daily Amar Desh wrote, I am not a person who is comfortable in politics. But I will not hesitate to join politics if the situation forces it. When the politicians are blamed for giving such statements, the question remains about the position rather than the personality. That's why Dr. Even if a small issue is raised about Yunus, it is widely discussed and criticized in the media.

Since the imposition of emergency, Professor Yunus has repeatedly criticized the prevailing politics and politicians of the country. In a press conference in Delhi, he said, politicians do not want to take the country from the stage of LDC to a more developed stage. While Bangladesh has now entered a developing country from a less developed country, the per capita income of the people has increased. Education rate has increased, maternal mortality rate has decreased, infant mortality rate has also decreased. Quoting Professor Yunus, Daily Amar Desh wrote, Now an opportunity has arisen. Those who are involved in corruption should be prevented from participating in elections. The opportunity he talks about indicates a turning point in the politics of Bangladesh at that time. The domestic situation became increasingly turbulent and politicians were targeted with arrests and political prosecutions.

On February 11, 2007, Professor Yunus wrote an open letter to the people of the country. In that letter, he said, great initiative should be taken to create a new politics. If this is not done, it will not be possible to come out clearly from the old politics. He said, being involved in politics means being controversial. If you think that my entry into politics will help in creating a new political environment in the country, then I am ready to take this risk. He also said that he will leave Grameen Bank if necessary to form a political party. In other words, even though he had a strong inclination towards politics, he announced through a letter that he would not enter politics even after deciding the name of the political party due to the lack of public support.

Not only that, after talking to journalists in different places about the formation of a political party. Yunus announced the principles and ideals of his political party. He said that his politics will be the realization of the dream of liberation war and unity. The principles and ideals of the party are - non-communalism, secularism, democracy, good governance, free from corruption and partisanship. After some time, Professor Yunus voluntarily announced to withdraw from the process of forming a political party on May 3, 2007. That is, the culture of returning from that place after announcing about a subject was never good, Dr. This is probably the case with Yunus. The fact that he is being criticized for his personal actions, where he is supposed to be universally respected everywhere, is largely a sight. Dr. NBRA tax evasion case. Yunus will have to pay 12 crores according to the High Court's ruling. brought Yunus back into the discussion. We never expected such a discussion to be about a Nobel laureate. Moreover, there are allegations of arbitrariness against him in the management of Grameen Bank.

According to the media, Dr. Ershad government established Grameen Bank on the proposal of Muhammad Yunus. Dr. Yunus took the job of Managing Director there, in 1983 it started as a legitimate and independent bank. The Government established the Grameen Bank through an Act and appointed Dr. as the Managing Director. Muhammad Yunus. That is, Dr. Grameen Bank. Muhammad Yunus had no personal money. But by using Grameen Bank Dr. Yunus got everything. On paper Grameen Bank is owned by the government and the borrowers are the public.

It can be mentioned in the context of the above discussion, Dr. did not hesitate to make cruel comments about the politicians during the caretaker government. Yunus. This issue has adversely affected the minds of politicians and the political arena of this country. But with most of the achievements and glory of this country, the outstanding role of politics and politicians is foremost. Besides, many people are commenting on the tax evasion incident of a world-famous person in different ways, which is really shameful and defamatory.
