The Commissioner representing the Itsekiri Ethnic Nationality in the Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Hon. Sunny Toghanrose Ofe, has congratulated the newly elected Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, saying Rt. Hon. Guwor’s extensive experience, in public service and as a respected member of the House, undoubtedly prepared him, “for this significant responsibility.”
Hon. Ofe, who made the assertion in a statement made available to Fresh Angle International, Friday June 16, also commended the efforts of the member representing Warri North Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Fred Martins, for his re-emergence as a second term legislature.

According to the DESOPADEC Commissioner, Hon. Martins’ reelection, was testament to his exceptional qualities, “unwavering dedication and the trust, leaders of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and the good people of Warri North, place on him.”
He stated inter-alia: “As the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, you will continue to hold the crucial position in shaping the legislative landscape of Delta state, and I have every confidence that you will continue to excel in this role.
“I firmly believe that you will continue to use your Speakership position to champion the cause of the people, ensuring that their voices are heard and their concerns addressed.
“With your keen understanding of the issues that affect the State, I am confident that you will implementing policies and initiatives that will propel Delta State forward and improve the lives of its citizen.
