Just In: NYSC to hold verification exercise for foreign graduates next week

The National Youth Service Corp, NYSC, is to hold verification exercise for all foreign trained graduates, who registered online for the 2023 Batch ‘B’ service year, from Monday 3rd -Friday 7th July, 2023.

Fresh Angle International understands that the verification exercise, is for foreign trained Prospective Corps Members, PCMs, whose credentials and travel documents are yet to be physically verified.

According to a statement scooped from the NYSC twitter handle this afternoon, Friday June 30, the Foreign trained PCMs, are expected to appear for the exercise in the underlisted centres; ENUGU - NYSC Secretariat, 2 Abakaliki Road, G.R.A, Enugu State, BAUCHI-Shadawanka Military Barracks, Bauchi, Bauchi State, FCT-NYSC Orientation Camp, Kubwa, Abuja, KANO-  Bukavu Military Barracks, Fagge, Airport Road, Kano, LAGOS - NYSC Orientation Camp, Iyana Ipaja, Lagos, OSUN- NYSC Secretariat, New Ikirun Road, Osogbo, Osun State, RIVERS- NYSC Secretariat, 40 Ikwerre Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, SOKOTO- Eagle Officers’ Mess, Gingiya Military Barracks, Gusau Rd, Sokoto and ADAMAWA- NYSC Secretariat, Federal Secretariat Complex, Yola, Adamawa State.”

The unsigned statement further noted: “As part of the measures put in place for stress-free exercise Prospective Corps Members PCMs, are expected to strictly report on the date and time specified on the verification slip.

“You (PCMs) are to present all original credentials, travel documents and registration with professional bodies (MDCN, PCN, NMCN, etc) as uploaded online during registration.

“Furthermore, you are to adhere strictly to the date and time assigned to you for the smooth conduct of the exercise.

“You are to note that only persons whose credentials are duly physically verified and cleared will be deployed, exempted, or excluded from National Service.”
