Critical issues impacting the Itsekiri Nation and how to forge ahead in unity and progress, would be critically addressed as Ugbajo Itsekiri USA Incorporated, holds its 25th Annual Convention, Fresh Angle International can report.
The convention, scheduled from September 1 through September 3, 2023, with the theme; ‘One People, One Heritage’, will take place at Crowne Plaza San Francisco Airport Hotel, 1177 Airport Blvd, Burlingame CA 94010.
According to a statement signed by the President, Executive Committee of Ugbajo Itsekiri USA Incorporated, Jemine Okotie-Yesin, the Vice President; Lucky Omire Mayor, Secretary; Noyo Kubeyinje-Edem, Treasurer; Theodora Uloghobui, Financial Secretary; Utieyin Edema-Eyem, Publicity Secretary; Dr. Okolie Atutumama and Assistant Secretary; Alero Mayor-Fashiku, meals for regional members, will be $150 for 2 meals and $85 for kids between ages 4 and 12.
The statement, added: “Itsekiri indigenes residing in the United States, but are not affiliated with any registered Itsekiri regional association or not currently a fee-paying member of any regional association of Ugbajo Itsekiri USA Inc., are required to pay a convention fee of $300.00 each.
“All attendees, visiting the United States, are required to pay a convention participation fee of $250.00 (COVERS CONVENTION FEES AND MEALS).
“ACCOMMODATION: Ugbajo Itsekiri USA Inc., has blocked rooms at discounted convention rates of $119.00 for single and double occupancy and $129.00 with breakfast. Please reserve your accommodation by contacting the hotel at: +-650-373-7050. Please look out for further information regarding scheduling or making reservations.”

The statement, explained that convention room rate is available from Friday September 1, 2023 and late departures through Monday September 4, 2023, based on room availability.
