AN ACT LIKELY TO BREACH PUBLIC PEACE AND CONTEMPT OF COURT, BY HON ARMSTRONG YOMERE
Hon. Armstrong Yomere

I Hon. Armstrong Yomere  of Omadino community, l am bringing to the notice of the public, the condemnable and unacceptable process by a group constituting Host Community Development Trust HCDT PIA for Omadino Community, which is not in compliance  with the new template by the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) 2021, with the following settlor,  e.g. Jones Creek, Makaraba, Chevron, Egwa 1&2, Saplat, Heritage, Nigeria Gas Company ( NGC), Con Oil and other IOCs operating and doing business on Omadino community lands, they are not acceptable and such actions can lead to breach of public peace and breach  of the law, therefore should be publicly condemned.

It is stated in the PIA act only the settlor and host communities can nominate members of the PIA, let me sound it as a warning to the names mentioned above, every agreement and discussion reached on behalf of Omadino people is nonviable and strange to the community constitution, the constitution in all seriousness prohibits outside administration/ authority that contravene the Article iii, section 1 of the community constitution, adopted 2016, July 9th, the SUPREMACY OF THE CONSTITUTION.

In addition, the only legal organs ensure the implementation of the inauguration of the Host Community Development Trust, HCDT, for Omadino Community inline with  the PIA Act is the Omadino community Trust led by Prof Gabriel Yomere and the Management Committee, led by Gabriel Ebiotomere, these organs are also in Court with the contentious group parading themselves led by one Mr Touyo mogbiyeteren, the cases are ; charge No, FHC /WR/107/2021, between Inspector General of Police Vs. Touyo Mogbiyeteren and ANOR, on Advance fee fraud at the Federal High Court, Warri and Suit No.W/152/2021 at the State High Court  Warri, all in Delta state, a case between Gabriel Ebiotomere led Management Committee VS Touyo Mogbiyeteren and others.

Conclusively, the cases are still in Court and nobody or group of persons should parade themselves as Omadino Management Committee, pending the determination of the Court cases. More also, whatever agreement reached , money paid to the nonconformist  group and other benefits belonging to Omadino community given to the  group led by one Touyo mogbiyeteren will be revisited through legal actions.

Be warned!

Hon Armstrong Omaretsuli Yomere

Leader/PRO Omadino Management Committee.
