Ighomitedo leadership of WRPC Support staff apologizes to Engr. Olasunkanmi

The Dafe Ighomitedo leadership of Support Staff of Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company, WRPC, has apologized to a former Managing Director of WRPC, Engr. Jimoh Olasunkanmi, over a publication made on Fresh Angle International Saturday September 23, 2023 by Messrs Odjuvwu Monday Akivie and Mone Nathaniel Oris, saying the duo had no right to speak on behalf of Support Staff of WRPC.                                     

In a statement made available to This Newspaper today, Saturday September 30, the Support Staff of WRPC, also tendered sincere apologies to the NNPCL management for what they described as " public embarrassment caused by that unfortunate publication ", urging members of the public to disregard the publication in its entirety, due to," the unfounded, untrue and misleading contents of the said publication.                                 

The statement, which was signed by Ighomitedo Dafe ; Lead Support Staff Representative, Eserada Emmanuel; Support Staff Representative, Richard Okorodudu; Support Staff Representative and Mrs. Alero Agoreyo; Support Staff Representative, declared inter - alia: "The intent and content of Messrs Odjuvwu Monday Akivie and Nathaniel Mone Oris publication on Fresh Angle International, malign the duly nominated representatives of WRPC Support Staff.                             

"We hereby condemn the act whereby any WRPC Support Staff or group, may choose to speak or write on behalf of the Support Staff, other than the duly nominated WRPC Support Staff Representatives. It should however be noted that the duo (Odjuvwu Monday Akivie and Mone Nathaniel Oris) were once representatives of WRPC Support Staff, before they opted out from being representatives of WRPC Support Staff, sometime in October 2022."
