A Chieftain of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, in Edo State, Hon. Edonsomwan Osagie says despite the credible performance of Governor Adams Oshiomhole in delivering dividends of democracy across the state, he is yet to attain the expected 100 percent the party yearns for.
Hon. Osagie who is the ward 2Chairman of ACN in Oredo local government area of Edo State made the declaration in a chat with Our Benin City Correspondent shortly after the Comrade governor was declared winner in the just concluded Edo gubernatorial election.
While noting that Comrade Oshiomhole won the poll as a result of his good work, Hon. Osagie who described the just concluded election as the second June 12 in Nigeria, advised the governor to remain focus and concentrate on his people oriented programmes.
He expressed optimism that Comrade Oshiomhole’s political career will go beyond Edo State and enjoined “losers” in the recently concluded poll “to join hands with the winner” to move the state to greater heights.
Meanwhile, Fresh Angle gathered from an impeccable source that the self styled “Mr. Fix it” of PDP, Chief Tony Anenih did not show face on the day of the gubernatorial poll, even as he avoided pressmen and allegedly locked himself in his home on sensing the electoral tsunami that was about to sweep his beloved party.
