Former Member of Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon Christopher Atule Okoche, who represented Ibaji Constituency for eight years on the platform of the People Democratic Party, (PDP), has defected to the ruling All Progressive Congress, (APC).
Hon. Christopher Atule Okoche was former Caretaker Chairman of Ibaji Local Government area of Kogi State.
Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that Okoche made this known at a stakeholders' meeting of APC held on Sunday in Ibaji Local Government.
He said his decision to join the APC was predicted on the giant strides recorded by the government of APC at the federal level and in Kogi State.
He said he had made consultations with his immediate constituents and will come at a given date with all his supporters into the APC.
Okoche said there was no guarantee of victory for the PDP or any other party in Kogi State apart from the APC in the November 11 Governorship polls.
