The Executive Director,Challenged Parenthood Initiative (CPI) Eunice Abimbola Agbogun, has stated that the declaration of Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan as the legitimately elected Senator of Kogi State Central Senatorial District will pave  way for more women to enter the realm of governance fearlessly.
 
 
In a statement signed by Agbogun on Thursday, the CPI Executive Director noted that, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan victory is a testament to the indomitable spirit of women, adding that, her journey of remarkable achievement has been nothing short of inspiring, as it  serve as a beacon of hope and determination for women across the nation.
 
Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that Agbogun pointed out Natasha unwavering resilience in the face of adversity is a testament to her strength of character and commitment to the cause. 
 
The statement reads in part"The challenges Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan overcome and the hurdles She faced echo the struggles that many women encounter in their pursuit of active participation in governance. 
 
 
"Her victory is not just a personal triumph; it is a triumph for every woman who has dared to dream and aspire to lead.
 
" In Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan perseverance, we find the embodiment of courage and tenacity. The Senator ability to navigate the obstacles thrown on her way with grace and determination is a shining example of the power of unwavering dedication. 
 
" Natasha Akpoti-Uduagha  journey will serve as an enduring source of inspiration, reminding women everywhere that they should never yield to discouragement or setbacks in their pursuit of equal representation and participation in the political arena.
 
"As an organisation dedicated to championing the rights of women and promoting gender equality, we are immensely proud of her achievement. CPI has keenly followed the Senator political career, including her Gubernatorial ambition in 2019. 
 
"We were one of the organisations that campaigned against Stop Violence Against Women In Politics(Stop VAWIP) in Kogi State. The aftermath of the 2019 election was what pushed us to campaign for the domestication of the VAPP Law. Now that the VAPP has been passed into law, we will continue to work to ensure its effective implementation in the state".
