Warri South Chairmanship hopeful in the forthcoming Delta State Local Government election, Comrade Monoyo Edon, has described the victory of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori at the Appeal Court, as a testament of divine mandate.
The Appeal Court sitting in Lagos State, had earlier today, Friday November 24, dismissed the petition filed by Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, challenging the victory of Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, on the ground that the petition lacked merit.
A three-member panel of the appellate court, handed down the judgement, thereby upholding the judgement of the Election Petition Tribunal in Delta State.
Comrade Monoyo Edon, while reacting to the judgement, during an exclusive telephone interview with Fresh Angle International, stated that the affirmation of Governor Oborevwori’s victory by the Appeal Court, would set the tone for accelerated development of Delta state.

While urging members of the opposition political parties, to join hands with the governor in the task of building the Delta State of our dream, Comrade Edon, who described himself as the favourite chairmanship aspirant of the masses in Warri South, averred: “I am very confident that as a Warri Boy, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, would actualize the Urban renewal dream of Delta State and revitalize the socio-economic life of Warri and other parts of Delta South Senatorial District, in terms of job creation and business opportunities for the youths.”
