A new youth leadership, under the auspices of Okere-Urhobo Development Movement, with Comrade Gideon Femi Oki, as Chairman, has been inaugurated with a mandate to serve the community for the next three months, effective today, Tuesday December 19, Fresh Angle International can report.
Inauguration of the new Okere -Urhobo Development Movement, which held today, Tuesday December 19, at Okere Urhobo Community Secretariat in Warri, Delta State, was in-line with the resolution reached at a rescheduled security held Saturday December 16 at the Warri South Council Lodge, between the Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, Security Chiefs from the Police, DSS and Army as well as leaders from the major families that make up Okere - Urhobo Kingdom.
Other members of the just sworn-in Exco of Okere -Urhobo Development Movement, are; Oghene Aghogho; Vice Chairman, Jeff Eboh; Treasurer, Okoh Omojevwe Pascal; Financial Secretary, Gift Ighere Oki; Chief Whip, Oghenemudiakevwe Okumagba; Cultural Officer, Odafe Obire, Auditor and Igho Opoggen; Sanitary Officer.

The Warri South Local Government Council, Head of Legal Department, Onome Udoro Esq, administered Oath-of-Office to members of the new Okere -Urhobo Development Movement.
Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, in his reaction, admonished the new leadership of the Okere-Urhobo youth body, to work with the Orosuen of Okere-Urhobo Kingdom, members of the Orosuen-in-Council and other elders of the kingdom, to produce an amended and acceptable constitution for the regulation of Okere - Urhobo youth activities, latest January 19, 2024.
Dr. Tidi, also charged the Comrade Gideon Femi Oki executive, to ensure sustained peace and development in Okere-Urhobo kingdom.

Recall that at the end of the expanded security meeting held Saturday December 16 at the Warri South Council Lodge, Oki family was mandated to produce the Chairman of Okere - Urhobo youth leadership, Olodi family got the nod to nominate the Vice Chairman, leaving the position of Secretary to Makro family.
The other exco positions in respect to how it was zoned are as follow: " PRO; Itifo family, Financial Secretary; Ighogbadu family, Treasurer: Olodi family, Assistant Secretary; Itifo family, Chief Whip; Oki family, Cultural Officer; Olodi family, Organizing Secretary; Makro family, Auditor; Ighogbadu family and Sanitary Officer; Ighogbadu family.
