Lizzy Efejuku hosts Christmas Carol for HCA children in Warri

Matron of Holy Childhood Association, HCA, on Saturday December 23, hosted Christmas Carol for children of HCA Sacred Heart Catholic Parish at her residence in Ugbuwangue, Warri, Warri South Local Government Area.

 

Our Senior Roving Correspondent, reports that the colourful event, was funfair as the children who dressed in different Christmas wears, exhibited enthralling talents and skills while singing the carol.

 

The programme kicked-off with singing of soul -lifting praises and highly spirited carols repleted with fascinating displays of drama, and other side attractions.

Addressing the gathering, the Matron of HCA, Mrs Lizzy Efejuku described Christmas Carol as a service of worship, celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, while Christmas means a mass for Christ. 

 

She advised the children to adhere strictly to the morals inculcated in them by their parents.

 

“Always conduct yourself properly, obey your parents by doing what is right and don’t forget to dress well,” she admonished.

Hon. Kenneth Efejuku made a cash donation to the HCA children and enjoined them to obey their parents at all times, just as he charged the children to abstain from bad things. 

 

Hon. Omimi Esquire, commended the children for their wonderful performance, promising to host the HCA children next year at his residence.

  

The children thanked their Matron, Mrs Lizzy Efejukwu for putting smile on their faces and prayed for God’s blessings upon Mrs. Efejuku and members of her family.

High point of the ceremony, was when Miss Tesimi Ebisin, a physically challenged Mass Communication undergraduate, entertained the children with melodious carols.
