Warri Chief and renowned politician, Chief Ayirimi Emami, has come down heavy on some of his fellow Itsekiris, saying they wanted to kill him because he spoke " the truth " on issues affecting Itsekiri Nation.

 

 

Chief Emami, who bare fangs in pidgin English, while speaking today, Wednesday January 3, in a video trending on Facebook, WhatsApp and other social media platforms, described what he is confronting from certain Itsekiri persons " as tribal bullying." He roared : "Itsekiri thank God say una nor fit kill me, despite all the tribal bullying. 

 

"Man wey e say, na una go dey everywhere dey say follow the law, na we dey this land, Una small law for inside house, Una nor fit follow am, Una want say Nigerian constitution Una no follow am abi?

 

"Because I talk the truth, naim una won kpai (kill) me with different thing and wetin shock me pass men of God join them o, but nor be Papa Ayo o.

 

"Them wey say them be Christian they no fit stand by the truth, common truth as e be naim I talk, naim them gang up both the one when dey Lagos, Abuja, everywhere dey run up and down , if nor be say I mount for home with some men when be say men when God send as righteous people, some good Itsekiri old men and some vibrant youths when dey with me na so them for take tribal bullying take kill me, like say na me be their problem, thank God o.

 

"We survived it, but this year is fire for fire, we will go follow up everything according to the law, me I nor dey shake o, tribal bully! Make them come follow me do am.

 

"You can imagine say na one small rat, nor be say because person big o, make them con follow gang up do all this one, heyyyy no greet am o, even go get radio station when them take dey talk, nor talk to Ayiri o, eh who greet Ayiri, but I dey kampe.

 

"I won thank those of una wey believe in me, wen say na truth I dey talk, when say my good nor go lost, God abd our ancestors go see una through this year, but make una remember say the battle just start. There will be more of tribal bullying, we are not scared of it, we don dey, them nor fit kill us and them nor go fit kill us thank you."
