Kogi State Polytechnic Rector Dr Salisu Usman Ogbo has appreciated Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, CON for the invaluable love, trust and support that led to the huge success of the 4th Convocation Ceremonies of the institution.
In a statement signed on Monday, Ogbo also appreciated the Governor Elect and next visitor to the Polytechnic, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the Deputy Governor-Elect, Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo, for the huge honour of personal presence and support throughout the occasion.
He appreciated the Deputy Governor Chief Edward David Onoja, represented by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Hon. Sunday Faleke, the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Dr (Mrs) Folashade Arike Ayoade; the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Umar Aliyu Yusuf; the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Comfort Unwuchola , other honourable members of the State House of Assembly, the Commissioners for Education, Science and Technology Hon. Wemi Jones, other members of the State Executive Council, Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants for the invaluable support and commitment to the success of the Convocation Ceremonies.
Part of the statement reads "Special appreciation to the Chief Judge of Kogi State and President, Kogi State Customary Court of Appeal and other Justices for the care and support all through.
"The Kogi State Chairman, All Progressives Congress(APC), Alhaji Abdullahi Bello, and other party leaders at the State, Local Government and Ward Levels are specially appreciated for being part of the success story.
"I give special kudos to the Vice-Chancellor of Federal University, Lokoja, Professor Olayemi Akinwunmi, Vice-Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba, Professor Marietu Tenuche, the Vice-Chancellor, Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, Professor Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu ,the Vice-Chancellor, Kogi State University, Kabba, Professor Kehinde Imise Temitope, Rectors of Polytechnics and Monotechnics and Provosts of Colleges, for the invaluable support we received all through.
