ACNPN Chairman, Comrade Obiemenyego lead delegates on New Year homage to Sir December Gboru

Association of Community Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria (ACNPN), Delta State Council has paid a solidarity visit to one of its pioneer members, Sir December Gboru  in his residential villa at Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area, Delta State.

The delegate visit  was led by the Chairman of the Association, Comrade Jude Obiemenyego, executive, and some members which is part of the welfare packages put in place to encourage the elderly  amongst members.

Speaking during the visit, Comrade Obiemenyego congratulated Sir December Gboru for his commitment to the growth  of the Association, stressing that despite his age, he still find time to attend all activities of ACNPN within and outside the State.

The Chairman said " We are here to wish you a very happy New Year and pray that this year, we will  continue to receive the fatherly support and wisdom from you." 

Also, Comrade Obiemenyego maintained that the emergency meeting slated for 9th of January this year has been cancelled while other directive will be communicated later to the members. Adding  that the regular Monthly meeting every last Thursday of the month will hold on January 25,2024 at the Association's Secretariat. 

He however enjoined members of the Association to be punctual and ensure that attendance is mandatory

Speaking earlier, the Treasurer of the Association ,Comrade Nnamdi Odiwe on behalf of the Association, thanked Sir December Gboru  for welcoming the delegates and assured him that such visit will be sustained by the leadership of Comrade Jude Obiemenyego .

According to Odiwe" This visit  is just to show you that we did not forget you . We pray that God Almighty will continue to bless your household and provide you with good health and wisdom".
