Supernatural Encounter Mission Outreach empowers over 300 Widows in Kogi

Over 300 Widows have been empowered by a faith-based association Supernatural Encounter Mission Outreach in Kogi State.

Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that the organization who carried out this laudable act in the spirit of Christmas and new year, have continued to gain commendation from far and near for their sustained efforts in bringing smiles in the faces of Widows, irrespective of their tribe, religion, and associations in the last seven years.

Speaking at the event, the founder of Supernatural Encounter Mission Outreach, Bishop and Rev Mrs. Kayode Ajibade thanked almighty God for the privilege given to his family to give back to the society.

While reassuring Widows in Kogi and beyond that his ministry will not relent it's empowerment programs, Ajibade said that the event was made possible out of God's provision, adding that, the outreach expanded to include Soap making ingredients for the second year consecutively.

In his sermon, a prominent clergy in Kogi State Dr. Akinola while acknowledging the challenges of life explained that the only and eternal hope is Jesus Christ.

Akinola, who called on all present to witness the extension of the love of God depicted by Bishop and Rev Mrs. Kayode Ajibade through the act of giving to emulate and practice, encourage Nigerians to fully turn to God with their whole hearts for them to be saved.

Also speaking, the Executive Director, Challenged Parenthood Initiative, Ms Eunice Abimbola Agbogun who encourage well to do individuals to always show love to Widows and those in need to always attract more blessings from almighty God said "Christmas and new year is a time of sober reflection and a reminder of a cherished tradition, a tradition characterized by the extraordinary ability of each person to touch, with goodness and kindness, the lives of others through sharing in ways that would shine the light of God's word around the world.

"Such is the core of our community and the very attribute which is exemplified in the lives of Bishop and Rev Mrs. Kayode Ajibade. In a time of struggle and difficulty, we see this selfless dedication to giving and benevolence".

In a bid to enable the beneficiaries to be self-sufficient, the Widow's were enlightened on how to make liquid soap which the facilitator Joy

assured them of the multifunctional uses and the economically viable nature when it becomes their source of livelihood.

Some of the beneficiaries both past and present, thanked God almighty for the opportunity as it has gone a long way toward alleviating hardships in their lives.

Highpoint of the event were presentation of grinding machines, soap making materials, cash sum to Widows to start up business, prayers for the benefactors and the beneficiaries by Rev. Owolabi, and a colourful display by an entertainment group   Planetshakers.
