Re-elected Chairman of Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Ndokwa West Local Government Council chapter, Comrade Ikechukwu Opone, has assured that he won’t take his renewed mandate for granted.
Our Kwale Correspondent, reports that Comrade Opone, gave the assurance Thursday January 11, at the Ndokwa West Council Secretariat in Kwale, shortly after a new executive of NULGE was elected for Ndokwa West Local Government Council.

Comrade Opone, who also promised to defend the dignity of staff and take care of staff welfare, thanked the Chairman of the Ndokwa West Local Government Area, High Chief Goddey Obi Nzete, the management and staff, the State Officials of NULGE and the Ndokwa East Branch Chairman of the union for their support.
While the Chairman, Comrade Ikechukwu Opone, Women Chairperson, Comrade Mercy Ikuni, Secretary, Comrade Emmanuel Onwubolo, Assistant Secretary, Comrade Chukwudi Oyemike, Trustee, Comrade Stephen Osemeke, Welfare, Comrade Glory Agwuye and Young Workers’ Rep, Comrade Chika Asuai, were re-elected, Comrades: Ruth Okoh; Vice Chairman, Kate Ejechi; Treasurer, Lucky Osadinizu; Auditor and Christabel Imasuen; PRO, were elected as first timers.

The Confirmation and Affirmation of the Exco was done by the State Auditor 2 of NULGE, Comrade Cyril Ozegbe, on behalf of the State NULGE President. Comrade Ziko Okwudi.
The State Union leadership, admonished the new Excos of Ndokwa West to be united and encouraged other staffers of the Council to cooperate with them.
