A group created for the purpose of promoting sustainable peace, clean environment and improving condition of living in the riverine communities in Nigeria, the Association of Coastal and Waterways Communities of Nigeria, ACWCN, has assured Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, of their readiness to support his developmental strides, as encapsulated in the governor’s MORE Agenda.
The guarantee by members of the group, was contained in a statement to felicitate Governor Oborevwori on the affirmation of his victory by the Supreme Court.
The statement which was signed by the Chairman and Secretary of Delta Chapter of ACWCN, Engr. (Dcn) Tuoyo Woligho and Pst. Paul Boyitie, respectively, noted: “We are pleased to write to you on behalf of the entire members of Association of Coastal and Waterways Communities of Nigeria, Delta State, to congratulate you, and the entire Delta State for your well-deserved victory at the Supreme Court.
“We wish you a successful tenure in office. We assure Your Excellency of our full support, as you embark on this Journey of bringing more Development across Delta State in fulfilment of your MORE Agenda.
“We look forward to working with you at every call and promise to provide a level playing ground as a non-governmental organization, with members in all the 25 local government Areas of the state, who have confident in the present administration.
“It is our earnest prayer that the Lord will give you wisdom, strength, direction and guidance to deliver on your mandate to the good people of Delta State.”
