The Special Adviser on Media to the Kogi State Governor, Hon. Ismail Isah, has assured that the current administration in the State will forge a robust partnership with local media practitioners.
Isah stated this in Lokoja when he met members of the federated Chapel on Wednesday.
He stressed the need for federated Chapel members to close rank and work hard to support the policies of the Government under Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
According to him, the chapel plays an important role in propagating the good image of the present administration adding that, the mistake of the past administration will be corrected.
He maintained that, Governor Ododo is committed in priotizing the local media stressing that, they are the first to manage crisis.
Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that the SA Media lauded the uniqueness of the federated Chapel, adding that, their influence will sharpen the opinion of the people.
The over 10 years media practitioners maintained that, the experience of the members in federated Chapel can not be over emphacized, adding that, their is need to support the present administration to succeed.
He argued that, the platform should be used as the most vital feedback mechanism, noting that, the Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo led Government means well for the people of Kogi State.
The SA Media averred further that, the support of the federated Chapel is very key, just as he posited that, Governor Ododo will deliver good dividend of democracy to the people of Kogi State.
"He is very forthright, honest, pro people and sees himself as an under dog. When you are an under dog, you relate and swim with the people. Governor Ododo is eager to work for the people.
"This is the first Governor in the history of Kogi State within one week left the Country for an investment drive. The first 100 days of the present administration will showcase project commissioning, initiation of projects to develop Kogi State. The Governor in the next one or two weeks will distribute palliatives to cushion effect of the economic challenges in the country" he stated.
He appealed to the people of Kogi State not to panic, stressing that, very soon the people of Kogi State will continue to smile.
He promised to present the challenges of the federated Chapel to Governor Ododo for it to be addressed immediately.
