Chief Emami felicitates Governor Aiyedatiwa for emerging APC candidate, advocates support of other aspirants

Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Ayirimi Emami, has felicitated Ondo state governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on his emergence as gubernatorial candidate of the APC in the forthcoming Ondo state governorship election.                                

Chief Emami, who described Aiyedatiwa 's victory at the primary as testament of his impactful governance  for the few months he has taken over as governor of Ondo state,  appealed to other aspirants that contested the  APC governorship primary held Saturday April 20,:to sheathe their sword and support the candidacy of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.                                

Governor Aiyedatiwa, reportedly polled 48, 569  votes in the direct mode  primary conducted by the ruling APC, to defeat 15 other aspirants, thus emerging the party's standard bearer in the Ondo state governorship election coming up November 16 this year.                      

 Reacting to the development, Chief Emami, who is maternally from the Ilaje extraction of Ondo state, advised Governor Aiyedatiwa, to broker peace with aspirants aggrieved with the outcome of the primary, for the interest of the APC and betterment of  indigenes of the oil producing state.                            

 While stating that, "  there was no victor, no vanquished in the primary that was family affair", Chief Emami, advised Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, to immediately reach out to the other aspirants, to enable the APC consolidate its dominance of Ondo state and seamlessly accelerate the developmental strides being witnessed in the state.
