Kogi NGOs Network (KONGONET), has commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his remarkable achievement in his 100 days in office.
 
The Chairperson, Kogi NGO's Network, Amb. Idris Ozovehe Muraina in a statement on Monday tasked the present administration to address the challenges facing the state and implement people-oriented development policies that will benefit all citizens of Kogi State.
 
 
Amb. Muraina said "it is important to state here that the institutionalization of “effective feedback mechanism” in all of these cannot be over-emphasized.
 
"We are glad to inform your excellency, that from our assessment and follow up on your administration first 100days in office, you are readily on track at delivering maximally on your electoral promises as outlined above.
 
"Your leadership in the next phase of your tenure will be crucial in shaping the future of our state, and we look forward to continued partnership towards building a better Kogi State for us all.
 
 
"On behalf of the Kogi NGOs Network (KONGONET), I extend our warmest congratulations to you on your first 100 days in office as the Executive Governor of Kogi State. We commend your dedication, vision, and efforts in leading our dear state during this critical period".
 
 
He emphacized that the present administration  commitment to the development of Kogi State is evident through it move to upgrade Adogo Airstrip to Cargo Airport,  official inauguration of State Steering Committee on OGP after two  years of sign -up, commencement of Sector Implementation Plans (SIP) for Kogi State Development Plan 2024 – 2056.
 
 
Continuing, the KONGONET Chairperson said, " the Governor has done well in the  donation of vehicles and other security gadgets to security outlets, Ongoing dualization of Kaduna junction through Zango-meme bridge road etc, and we appreciate the strides you have taken towards improving the lives of our people.
 
"As the apex body of civil society organizations network in the state, we recognize the importance of collaboration between the government and the civil society sector in driving positive change and sustainable development.
 
"While we urge for more strategic engagement with representatives of civil society organizations to foster transparency, accountability, and inclusivity in governance. We hereby use this opportunity to remind you of your pact with the people of Kogi State which are drawn from 12 thematic areas of human endeavours as follows;
 
 
"Good Governance and Leadership,  Infrastructural Development and Maintenance, ( Education and Human Capital Development,  Healthcare and Social Welfare,  Agriculture and Rural Development,  Security and Peace Building, Women Empowerment and Gender Equity, Environment and Sustainable Development, Industry and Commerce, Information and Communications Technology & Innovation,  Youth Empowerment and Sports Development and  Entertainment and Tourism Development".
