The Board of Directors for the SBS Foundation held its inaugural meeting with a firm commitment to focus on the key needs of stakeholders.
Our Senior Roving Correspondent, reports that the meeting was held Saturday May 11 at the SBS Foundation Head Office in Ubeji Warri South Local Government Area of Delta state.
SBS Foundation is a non-governmental organization that specializes in research and developing solutions for deadly diseases in human body.
Chairman of the Foundation, Mr. Samuel Sadoh briefed the media on the outcome of the meeting, he stated that the first Board meeting afforded members the opportunity to interact with each other, review past activities, discuss funding sources, and upcoming projects and events. He said the meeting also marked the unveiling of a new product, Samrech Enema a new drug, with approval from NAFDAC, that treats prostate diseases, on a subsidized rate.
He said the drug was made in America but brought into Nigeria to address the rising cases of prostate disease currently affecting men.
Mr. Sadoh also disclosed that the Foundation is in discussion to get a property for a Treatment Center, where outpatient can come for treatment.
The Chairman Board of Directors, called on individuals Agencies and government to partner with SBS Foundation in getting the drug to all who needs it, saying “Prostate disease is one of the most prevalent among men in Nigeria that needs urgent attention.”
