Committee of Friends to Misan: Your appointment as Special Adviser, Local Content to Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, apt

Associates of Mr. Ogbegbe Misan, under the auspices of Committee of Friends, have described his appointment as Special Adviser, Local Content to Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, as apt.

Recall that the Senator representing Delta South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, on Thursday June 13, appointed 23 prominent indigenes of Delta South as Special Advisers, with Mr. Ogbegbe Misan, getting the portfolio of Special Adviser, Local Content.

The Senator, in a statement immediately after the appointments, explained: “Dear Constituents, as part of the fulfilment of my electoral promises to accommodate the interests of diverse groups, to represent the great people of Delta South effectively and to bring governance closer to the people, I have approved and reshuffled the appointments of the following persons as Advisers in my office with immediate effect.

“These appointments were carefully considered and made with the overall aim of making my office more efficient, service-oriented and accessible to my constituents. More appointments shall be made as the need arises.

“While congratulating the appointees, I appeal to all Delta South constituents and the general public to give them all necessary cooperation and support, so that we can grow our beloved Senatorial District and nation together in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr. President, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.”

Committee of Friends of Mr. Ogbegbe Misan, in a statement made available to Fresh Angle International, today, Friday June 14, noted: “Mr. Ogbegbe Misan’s appointment is very apt, because he is a thoroughbred Wafarian, with solid understanding of indigenous entrepreneurs and multinationals. His ability to regularly interface with Deltans and non-Deltans, as well as other key stakeholders, is legendry.”
