Scheme of work aimed at enhancing the study of Itsekiri Language and the development of curriculum for same purpose, will be launched on Tuesday June 25, Fresh Angle International can report.
The blueprint, said to have gotten approval of Delta State Government, is for the study of Itsekiri Language in primary and junior secondary schools.
The launching, which will be under the chairmanship of Engr. Gbesimi Akperi, will hold at Nana Model College, Warri in Delta state.
The suzerain of Warri Kingdom, Ogiame Atuwatse III, will grace the occasion as Royal Father of the Day, while Her Royal Highness, Olori Atuwatse III, will be Mother of the Day.
Renowned Gospel Ambassador and former President of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Papa Ayodele Joseph Oritsejafor, is expected to grace the event as Spiritual Father of the Day, with Chief ( Senator) Daisy Danjuma, attending as Chief launcher.
