Damaged Kerb on Federal Highway: Warri South Council, to withdraw case as company complete repair work

Fresh Angle International, can authoritatively report that authorities of Warri South Local Government Council in Delta State, have decided to withdraw the case instituted at Warri Magisterial II District in Warri, against Zukus Nigeria Limited.

Warri South Council Health of Environment Department, Mrs. Stella Omosibo Mode, told This Soaring International Tabloid this morning, Friday June 21, that the decision to withdraw the case, was consequent upon completion of the repair work of the damaged kerb along the NPA Expressway, after the Ogunu Flyover in Warri, Delta State.

She said the company, successfully repaired the kerb in-line with the standard given by the Council and subsequently complied with the terms of the Abatement Notice, to the satisfaction of the Environment Department.

Recall that Mrs. Mode, who is a Director, Environment Health Officer, in the Local Government Service of Delta State, told This Digital Newspaper, Tuesday June 18, that repair work being carried out by Zukus Nigeria Limited, on the damaged kerb, was at 70% completion stage.

The Warri Magisterial II District, had summoned Zukus Nigeria Limited, to appear before it, July 2, 2024, over alleged failure to comply with the terms of an Abatement Notice, served on it by authorities of Warri South Local Government Council.
