PSN donates over 2Million naira worth of drugs, consumables to NMA

The Pharmaceutical Society Of Nigeria, (PSN) has donated drugs and consumables worth N2,135,360 to the Nigeria Medical Association, (NMA) Kogi State.
 
Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that the Kogi State Chairman of PSN, Dr. Lawal Muhammed Omuya, disclosed this on Wednesday in Okene duirng a medical outreach organized by the Nigeria Medical Association, Kogi State branch.
 
Dr. Omuya acknowledged the present hardship Nigerians are facing, noting that it will in no small measure bring succor to the people of Okene and its environ.
 
His words "It is so difficult to feed these days not to talk of buying drugs for our health care needs, this is why when the founder and CEO of Dr Alabi and friends Medical Outreach foundation (DAFMO) - Dr. Alabi Olatunde Oladeji - extends a request to Pharmaceutical Society Of Nigeria (PSN), on how we can provide support in terms of drugs and consumable to this very noble gesture, we saw it as not only an opportunity to give back to the society but also to identify with the good work of Dr. Alabi and friends Medical Outreach foundation (DAFMO) in going extra miles to bring responsive and timely medical/surgical care to the downtrodden in the society. 
 
"The PSN, in response to this request to support NMA in kogi state, hereby donates drugs/consumables worth Two million one hundred and thirty five thousand, three hundred and sixty naira only (#2,135,360) through the foundation (DAFMO) to NMA"
 
" I also want to thank everyone who is participating in this outreach, especially the honourable commissioner of health who overcome the pride that usually go with political appointees by joining the team of Doctors to see patients all through  the period of the outreach on day 1. my own brother prof. Solomon Avidime the CMD, Reference Hospital Okene, who plays the role of a host to this outreach, i say a big thank you and God bless".
