The Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comr. Weyinmi Isaac Agbateyiniro, has revealed that his administration will release fund next week for traders, who have successfully gone through the relevant financial literacy and business-related programmes organized by the Council, to enable the traders effectively manage the revolving loan scheme promised all the markets in Warri South.

Comr. Agbateyiniro, made the disclosure, Friday September 20, at the Warri South Council Main Secretariat in Warri, Delta State, while swearing in the new Secretary to Warri South Local Government, Mr. Emmanuel Nunu and the first Supervisor for Innovation and Sports Development in Warri South Council, Chief Butler Igbigbi.

The Warri South Local Government Chief Executive, who expressed delight with the political crème de la crème that graced the swearing in ceremony, mentioned the ongoing construction of two abattoirs and cold rooms at Pessu Market, reconstruction of the burnt section of the Igbudu Market, empowerment of 450 People With Disabilities, PWDs, advance plans to give bursary to 1,000 students in tertiary institutions, monthly stipends for 275 senior citizens above the age of 65 and the reconstruction of Omadino/Obodo Link Road, as key major achievements of his administration within the first 65days in Office.

Comr. Agbateyiniro, charged the new Warri South SLG, Mr. Emmanuel Nunu and the Supervisor for Innovation and Sports Development, Chief Butler Igbigbi, to take the oath of secrecy and commitment to service delivery seriously.

The Secretary to Warri South Local Government, Mr. Emmanuel Nunu, while responding, assured the Warri South Council Boss, that they would work in sync with his Amazing Grace Agenda, which encompasses rapid infrastructural development, human capital advancement, safe and clean environment, Agricultural development and efficient primary healthcare delivery.

Delta State Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Barr. Ada Val Arenyeka, Vice Chairman of Warri Sout Local Government, Hon. Kingsley Edafiadjebre, Special Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Environment, Hon. Matthew Poko Opuoru, the Leader of Warri South Legislative Arm, Hon. Joy Ejumudo, Warri South PDP Chairman, Hon, Richard Pessu, prominent Executive Assistants to Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborewvori from Warri South as well as non-sitting members of Delta State House of Assembly, were among chieftains of PDP that graced the colourful ceremony.
