Delta State Commissioner for Works (Highways and Urban Roads) Comrade Reuben Rume Yakubu Izeze, has declared that Warri South Local Government Area is blessed to have Comrade Weyinmi Isaac Agbateyiniro as Chairman, saying the new Warri South Local Government Boss, has demonstrated exceptional difference in his administrative modus operandi.
Comr. Izeze, made the assertion Friday September 20, shortly before flagging off the ‘Operation Zero Tolerance to Potholes and proper marking of roads in Warri South’ and officially kick-starting the reconstruction of 185 metres Omadino/Obodo Link Road, being executed by the Comr. Weyinmi Agbateyiniro administration of Warri South Local Government Area.
The Commissioner, who stated that it was very rare for local government councils, to embark on construction of road projects, advised Warri South Local Government Council, to explore the possibility of constructing side drains at the Omadino/Obodo Link Road.

Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comr. Weyinmi Agbateyiniro, in his remarks, noted: “This is the first time any administration in Warri South Local Government, is making effort to see that all the potholes in Warri South, are not only patched, but the roads in Warri metropolitan area, are properly marked.

Two community leaders in Omadino and Obodo Communities, Mr. Godwin Tsola and Mr. Orits Andrew Ukawe, respectively, thanked Comr. Agbateyiniro for keeping to his electioneering promise of reconstructing the Omadino/Obodo Link Road, just as they pleaded with him to look into other emerging challenges in the twin communities.

Meanwhile, Delta State Commissioner for Works (Highways and Urban Roads) Comrade Reuben Rume Yakubu Izeze, also flagged off the ‘World Environment Day’ in Warri South, urging Officials of the Council’s Environment Department to do their best in making sure the environment is clean at all times.
