The Warri Magistrate Court 2 in Warri, on Wednesday October 23, ordered the sealing of a car wash along Shell Contractor Road, Warri, for operating below health standard.
Fresh Angle International, understands that the Order, was carried out Friday October 25 by the court bailiff, Men of the Nigerian Police Force and some Officials of the Environment Department of Warri South Local Government Council.
The decision of the court, was consequent upon a case brought before it by Warri South Local Government Council, through its Environment Department.
The Council, had served abatement notice to owner of the car wash (name withheld) saying the car wash falls below health standard and urged the said owner to construct an adequate size soak away pit, to empty the waste water from the car wash, in order to prevent further accumulation of waste on the public road, causing damages.
