Egbo to NULGE: We can build a more vibrant, progressive local government together


Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Area in Delta State, Olorogun (Barr.) Jaro Movudu Egbo, has felicitated the Chairman of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Ughelli North Council Chapter, Comrade Nancy Enakireru and the entire workforce of the Council, on the occasion of NULGE Day celebration 2024, saying: “Together, we (Ologorun Jaro Egbo and NULGE) can build a more vibrant and progressive local government, that benefits all citizens.”

Olorogun Egbo, in a statement made available to Our Ughelli North Bureau Chief, this morning, Thursday November 21, noted: “This day marks a significant milestone in recognizing the invaluable contributions of local government workers in building a stronger, more effective, and accountable government. Your dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to service continue to strengthen the foundation of good governance at the grassroots level.

“As the Chairman of Ughelli North, I appreciate the critical role NULGE plays in advocating for the welfare and rights of workers, ensuring that they receive the necessary support to perform their duties effectively. I am proud of the progress we’ve made together in fostering a conducive working environment for all our employees.

“On this special occasion, I reaffirm my commitment to continuing our collaboration, ensuring that the welfare of local government workers remains a priority.

“Once again, congratulations to Comrade Nancy Enakireru and all the members of NULGE in Ughelli North particularly those who are committed in puting in extra time to our service delivery. May this day inspire even greater unity, dedication, and service to our local government.”
